June, 2010: Attended Bishop-Dullaghan Lineman (Down&Dirty) Camp on June 3, 4, 5th. This was Gus' third year to be at this incredible camp. Out of 185 campers, Gus was named "#1 Overall Best Pass Rusher" for the Camp by the coaching staff.

August, 2010: Gus Hancock is named to ESPN's Top 50 High School Football Prospects in the state of Indiana.
Gus is named Offensive Lineman of the Week by Owen Valley H.S. in season opener, 8-13-10

2009 Football Season (Gus' junior season): 2009 seasonal stats with Gus at defensive tackle:
61 tackles, 4.5 sacks, 5 tackles for Loss, one fumble recovery, dozens of QB rushes.
POST 2009 SEASON AWARDS:
All-Area Second Team by the Bloomington Herald Times, then an Honorable Mention on the Wabash Valley Football Coaches Association (WVFCA) All Area Team, Overall Defensive Lineman Award at OVHS, numerous "Hit of The Week" and "Lineman of The Week" awards during 2007, 2008, and 2009 by coaching staff at OVHS.
